Lanyon Real Estate was founded by the Principal, Daryl Saxon in November 1997 to list, sell and market residential property and manage residential rental property, primarily at the southern end of the Australian Capital Territory, with the sphere of influence being the suburbs of Banks, Conder and Gordon. These three suburbs are collectively called Lanyon Valley, due to their close proximity to the historical Lanyon Homestead, and this is from where the business derived its name.
New clients, who haven't been personally referred, tell us the reason they come to Lanyon Real Estate is because they have seen our growth, both in expansion of the two shop fronts at Conder and Calwell and in print media advertising. They believe we have been innovative and resourceful by introducing new concepts to marketing and pricing of homes and presenting the company to the marketplace and, by giving their business to the agency, demonstrated that belief.
By embracing the latest technologies applicable to the real estate industry, providing a comprehensive marketing package for selling property and by maintaining an awesome personal service to clients, Lanyon Real Estate has become a formidable competitive force in the industry.

Our commitment to you is that we will do all that we can to remove or relieve that stress. We have a number of past clients who are happy to confirm that we follow through with our commitment. In fact, Canberra's population was recently given the opportunity through talk-back radio to vote for which they believed was the "Finest Real Estate Agency" in the Australian Capital Territory. Competing against over 100 other agencies, Lanyon Real Estate was declared to be the Peoples Choice.

While we were proud to be "the little agency on the corner" in our formative years, because we achieve outstanding results for our clients and customers and maintain a level of service that we believe will result in a relationship for life, we were able expand the business and open an additional shop front during 2006. From our humble beginnings in 1997 servicing three suburbs, our new office now allows us to service the whole of the Tuggeranong Valley.
